An Oklahoma couple had been charged with first-degree manslaughter in connection with the death of their 3-year-old daughter from a large tumor according to prosecutors.

Henry Clarence Lilly III, 49, and Bonnie Beth Mills-Lilly, 42, are facing the criminal charges after they failed to seek medical treatment for their daughter. Comanche County Sheriff's Office began an investigation on Jan. 3, when paramedics found the girl unconscious in the camper where the family used to live.

The toddler was then rushed to hospital where she ultimately died. The state medical examiner attributed her death to cancer after discovering a 17-pound tumor, which is more than half the weight of the weight of a 3-year-old child.
