A woman charged with drug supply offences on the state’s Central Coast yesterday

A woman will appear in court today after being charged with drug-related offenses in the state's Coast region.

On Tuesday, January 15, 2019, around noon, a 37-year-old woman was arrested by police after a car stopped on the Pacific Highway in Lesaro.

The car was searched and the police identified a place and seized a quantity of drugs, which was believed to be methylamphetamine.

She was arrested and taken to the Gosford Police Station.

Later in the day, police launched a search warrant at a Hills Street home just north of Gosford shortly after 3:30 pm, seizing cell phones, a quantity of cannabis and a weapon.

The woman was charged with offering illegal drugs (x3), possession of a prohibited drug (x2), providing a prohibited drug and possession or use of a prohibited weapon without authorization.

She was refused bail to appear in the Josephord Local Court today.
