A woman and a boy died Saturday evening in a crash in Ellis County that injured five other people.
The fatal crash happened sometime before 6:30 p.m. Saturday on Farm to Market Road 667 near White Rock Road in Italy, a DPS official said.
Two people, a woman, and a young boy were pronounced dead at the scene.
Two children were airlifted to Children's Hospital in Dallas and one child and two adult passengers were taken to Baylor Hospital in Waxahachie.
