Death of 99-year-old Minnesota man ruled homicide

Authorities say the death of an elderly man after a home invasion has been ruled a homicide.

John Gosche, 99-year-old sustained injuries ti his left arm after an altercation with suspected robbers who invaded his home and asked for money on the afternoon of Dec.2.

The autopsy results showed that John Gosche died four days later of complications from these injuries.

Investigators believe that two male suspects threatened the elderly victim and forced him to hand them cash. They reportedly left with an unrevealed amount of cash. They also believe that the incident was not random.

The home was located in Crystal, Minnesota. No weapons have been used during the home invasion.
