At around 6 pm on Saturday, January 12, 2019, a 19-year-old Central Coast woman was taken from the FOMO Parramatta Festival to Westmead Hospital, but died later that evening.
A total of 11,387 people attended the concert at the Parramatta Park Music Festival. The officers were looking for 146 people and 54 people found in possession of drugs.
Twenty-four other people were expelled from the meeting venue, usually due to poisoning problems.
The circumstances surrounding the deaths of women are now being investigated by officers from the Parramatta Police Headquarters who are calling on anyone with information to advance.
The police will prepare a forensic report.
