Emergency services remain on the scene of the fire that destroys an Umina Beach mall this morning.
Officers attached to the Water County Brisbane Police and the NSW Fire and Rescue Officers were summoned to the center on Ocean Beach Road on Sunday, January 13, 2019, at approximately 2:15 am
They found the complex of eight light complexes.
The fire spread to the ceiling cavity where the insulation continues to burn. Efforts have been made to contain the fire.
Since the cause of the fire is not yet determined, it is considered suspect.
No injuries were reported.
Anyone with information on progress is urged to come forward.
