The Las Vegas woman who is accused of running over a salon owner and fatally dragging her 50-feet away as she fled from paying a $35 manicure bill has finally been arrested.
Krystal Whipple, 21, was arrested on Friday in Glendale by a team of Phoenix fugitive hunters working with local authorities. She has been on the run for nearly two weeks since the tragic incident that costs the life of 51-year-old salon owner Ngoc Q. Nguyen as she tried to stop Whipple's car after she tried to skip out on the bill.
Whipple faces murder and robbery charges. Authorities said that she had a criminal record including attempted possession of a stolen car. Prosecutors plan to seek her extradition from Arizona to Las Vegas.
