Emergency services were called at the corner of Cumberland Road and Percival Road in Smithfield after the incident was announced.

Police said Mitsubishi Lancer, who was carrying two women aged 21 and 17, had lost control of her forces and had left the road before hitting a telegraph pole, seriously damaging her car.
