Woman with concealed carry license shot and killed man who attempted to rob her.

A would-be robber was shot and killed by the woman he was going to rob at a bus stop Tuesday morning in Chicago's Fernwood neighborhood.

19-year-old Laavion Goings approached the woman, 25, in the 500 block of West 103rd Street, displayed a weapon and tried to rob her.

the 25-year-old woman who has a concealed carry license struggled with the robber where she pulled out her gun at some point and shot him in the neck.

Goings left the scene and was found a block away, officials said. He was taken to Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, where he died.

no charges had been filed against the woman yet as the case is still under investigation.
