A man was arrested after being caught on a security camera licking a family's doorbell for several hours in California.
The man, who was identified as Roberto Daniel Arroyo, 33, was caught on video early Saturday at a residence in the 400 block of Hyde Street, said Miguel Cabrera, a spokesman for the Salinas Police Department.
The homeowners were out of town, their children who were inside the house at the time of the incident were alerted by the surveillance system of movement by the front door.
the man has a history of misdemeanor offenses including public intoxication, resisting arrest, and being under the influence of narcotics, he is now facing charges of petty theft and prowling after he disconnected an extension cord that powered the home’s Christmas lights and walked off with it.
