A Pennsylvania foster family was arrested after the mother and her two siblings starved and abused three young kids over a period of six years, police said.

Brenda Parise, 60, her daughter Amy Parise, 32, and her son Shawn Parise, 30, were all arrested Monday and charged with felony child endangerment and other offenses.

The Parises beat the three children, ages 6, 3 and 11 months when arrived to the home in 2011, with paddle and belt and denied them food, according to the police affidavit. When the kids were fed, they ate cross-legged on the floor and were largely given bologna sandwiches or sometimes chicken.

The children were removed in December 2017 with abuse marks, bruises and severe scarring on their bodies. They were all malnourished and suffered extreme weight loss.
