Two suspects have been arrested in connection with the shooting death of a 7-year-old while she was traveling with her mother and three sisters in a car on Dec. 30, according to Harris County Sheriff's Office.

Eric Black Jr., 20, was identified as one of the two suspects charged with capital murder for the death of Jazmine Barnes. The other suspect was not immediately identified by authorities but some news reports named him as Larry Woodruffe, 24, the suspected gunman who unprovokedly opened fire at the family inside the car shooting Jazmine Barnes in the head, and wounding her mother in her arm.

One of Jazmine's sisters was the first to realize her death. "She said Momma, Jazmine's not moving. She's not talking, I turned around and my 7-year-old was shot in the head," her mother said.
