Family of missing father received a hard answer after his body was found behind mobile home.

The body of missing Roderick Crawford who has disappeared since Dec. 28, was found Thursday night in Upson County behind a mobile home in the Lincoln Park area of Thomaston. Investigators believe he was murdered but do not yet have a cause of death.

Crawford, 46, has told his family members he was going to check his work schedule at J&M Truck Lines. He called his wife at 7:19 p.m. Friday but she missed the call. His phone was pinged from a cell tower near Thomaston shortly thereafter but has not been located since. Sheriff Brad White said the phone had likely been deactivated or destroyed.

the victim's Dodge Nitro was found abandoned in Clayton County. The SUV was returned to Lamar County Wednesday and processed by GBI agents.

the family of the father of four was sure that something terrible happened to him, “Something is off. Something is not right. I just get this feeling, you know, something is wrong with my pops, man,” said Ladarius Crawford, Roderick Crawford’s oldest son.

two suspects were taken into custody in connection with the death of Crawford, the Upson County sheriff are holding Cameron Jones, 20, and Kiera Williams as primary suspects.

they are expected to be charged later today. The Georgia Bureau of Investigation has been called in to handle the investigation.
