Unusual break: Man arrested after breaking into a Massachusetts home, cleaning everything inside

Massachusetts police have arrested last Thursday a man accused of breaking into a woman's home and cleaning everything inside.

Mitchell Sayers, 33, from Pittsfield had allegedly entered the woman's North Adams residence through an unlocked door, removed his shoes and began cleaning everything inside, even the litter box, reports said.

When authorities responded to the home, they found the woman outside the home while the suspect was still inside, cleaning. Police entered the home with drawn weapons to find Sayers coming out of the kitchen, hands in the air. He was not armed at the time of his arrest and "was not making much sense with his statements."

Sayers faces misdemeanor charges of breaking, entering and disturbing the peace.
