A New Jersey nurse had passed away on April 16 after spending 24 days battling the novel coronavirus. A battle she filmed day by day from her bed.
The mild symptoms of 56-year-old Pamela Orlando were first documented in a clip she shared on social media: “Hello all, today I have a fever that I can’t get rid of but I am resting comfortably in my bed, I’m not going to the ER, I’m going to manage my symptoms at home,” she said.
The next day, she became noticeably grey and she claimed “feeling like crap.” By the third day, Orlando sought help filming herself in a hospital bed with a nasal cannula. “Oh my God, this is no joke,” she said the following days as she appeared breathless, coughing.
The last clips Orlando posted were almost begging people to pray for her: “Please God, help me,” she said.
