Stillwater news, Oklahoma news.

Officials have confirmed that an Oklahoma State football player had tested positive for coronavirus raising the infection tally among athletes to 3 since the voluntary workouts resumed.

Linebacker Amen Ogbongbemiga told his followers that he contracted the coronavirus after attending a protest in Tulsa, Oklahoma. The news was confirmed by Kevin Klintworth, the associate athletic director, who tweeted that three players are COVID-19 positive at the time.

Similarly, numerous coronavirus infections have been reported among football players in many states including West Virginia and Iowa. This comes after an outraging comment of Cowboys coach about the bug’s consequences on players who are “18 to 22-year-old” and can easily fight off the virus: “We sequester them because we need to budget the state.”
