President Donald Trump claims that he is doing best than other presidents to black Americans since Abraham Lincoln freed them from slavery.
“My Admin has done more for the Black Community than any President since Abraham Lincoln,” Trump boasted on Twitter before listing his achievements: “Passed Opportunity Zone with Sen. Tim Scott, guaranteed funding for HBCU’s, School Choice, passed Criminal Justice Reform. Lowest Black unemployment, poverty, and crime rates in history…AND THE BEST IS YET TO COME!”
Trump’s tweet came as thousands of demonstrators were in streets protesting the brutality of police interventions against the black community, with George Floyd’s death as the latest example.
