‘We hope you sob and cry all day’: Photography Company tells would-be groom who lost his fiancée in crash and asked for refund

Denver news, Colorado news.

A Texas photography company is making news after posting a cold-hearted message on May 26, the day a man asking it for refund was supposed to marry his late fiancée who died in a car crash.

“Today would have been the day where we would have filmed Justin and Alexis’ wedding. After what Justin pulled with media stunt to try and shake us down for a refund, we hope you sob and cry all day for what would have been your wedding day.”

Following the death of Alexis Wyatt, 22, in February, Justin Montney entered in a battle with the Copper Stallion Media over a $1,800 non-refundable deposit. Montney took to social media and to local news outlets in Denver to relate his story. That’s when the company sued him for defamation and went to the point of insensitively offering services for his next wedding.
