Walt Disney and SeaWorld are reopening in July

Both SeaWorld and Disney World's reopening proposals have been approved by the Florida Economic Recovery Task Force in Orange County

By the end of the day, Orange County Mayor Jerry Demings will likely approve the plans and submit a letter of endorsement to the state of Florida

In a presentation made by the company on Wednesday, Walt Disney World has proposed to reopen its Magic Kingdom and Animal Kingdom on July 11n and EPCOT and Hollywood Studios on July 15.

SeaWorld has proposed to reopen its Orlando parks for employees and staff on June 10 and to the public on June 11.

Both companies are also requiring patrons to wear face masks, among other guidelines, as a precaution. In addition, both parks said they're planning to enhance safety protocols by requiring face coverings for guests and cast members, adopting hysical barriers to encourage social distancing including plexiglass at cash registers, enhance cleaning throughout the park including more hand sanitizing stations, require temperature checks for guest and cast members, reduce the capacity of retail stores and restaurants, adopt contactless payment systems and close high-touch areas such as play areas.
