Louisville news, Kentucky news.

Judges in Kentucky had no other choice but to force suspected coronavirus patients and their immediate relatives to wear GPS ankle monitors after they refused to comply with stay-at-home orders.

Louisville authorities issued the orders for at least four residents as the city records 18 coronavirus cases and seven deaths. Mayor Greg Fischer said that such measures are needed to lessen the novel virus’ spread and keep residents safe.

Some of the involved patients were still awaiting their results while others were living with contaminated people. One of them had gone shopping and another refused to sign a quarantine order. Reports revealed that Louisville residents did not comply with restrictions forcing authorities to implement several measures such as removing rims from basketball courts.
