Detroit news, Michigan news.

On Thursday, Detroit authorities announced the death of a bus driver by COVID-19 four days after he posted a profanity-laced video on Facebook amid which, he expressed his frustration and complained about a passenger who intentionally coughed on bus multiple times without covering her mouth.

Jason Hargrove, 50, posted the emotional video on March 21. A few days later, he got sick and passed away Wednesday, according to the head of the drivers’ union, Glenn Tolbert.

“Everybody in America” must see that video, Mayor Mike Duggan said in a statement.

In the video that has not shown the coughing passenger, Hargrove expressed his anger toward people who don’t take the coronavirus epidemic seriously: “Public workers doing our jobs, trying to make an honest living, take care of our families.”
