A San Francisco woman is recovering after three boys and an 18-year-old man viciously attacked her in the hallway of her apartment complex late last month.
The 70-year-old victim, identified as Mrs. Ren, said that on July 31, she was returning home from a rare trip when the four suspects approached her asking for time. She answered them, but they kept following her into the hallway.
“They searched my body and I quickly realize they’re up to no good,” Mrs. Ren recalled.
The boys asked for her iPhone and when she refused, they followed her onto the elevator and dragged her out onto the floor.
“They used their fist to hit my head multiple times and then they pulled me down and kept kicking me,” she said.
Surveillance video caught the brutal attack and helped identify the assailants: 18-year-old Daryl Moore, and two boys aged 11 and 13, have since been arrested. A 14-year-old suspect remains at large.
“I want this story to come out so people know and so far other people be aware to be safe,” the victim’s daughter said.
