Grieving mom of woman executed while pushing stroller in NYC street says killer is baby’s dad

The distraught mom of the New York City woman who was literally executed while pushing her baby in a stroller identified the killer as the child’s father.

Azsia Johnson, 20, was shot to the back of the head at close range at around 8:30 p.m. while pushing a 3-month-old child in a stroller on the city’s Upper East Side.

“The city was supposed to be protecting her,” Lisa Desort, the victim’s mom, told Fox News through tears. “This is a domestic violence case from January. We called the precinct.”

    About the man she suspects, Desort said: “He threatened me with death, my daughter with death, and my other daughter with death. We called the precinct numerous times.”

    New York City Mayor Eric Adams cited the “over-proliferation” of firearms in the Big Apple as a cause of the tragedy and promised to hold the perpetrator accountable.

    “We’re going to find this person that’s guilty of this horrific crime. we’re going to find him and bring him to justice.”
