Baltimore mom who killed two young children found unfit to stand trial

The Baltimore mom accused of slaughtering her two young children in a gruesome crime that made headlines last month was found incompetent to stand trial.

Jamerria Hall faces two counts of first-degree murder in connection with the deaths of Da’Neria and Davin Thomas.

  • Hall’s attorney had previously argued that she couldn’t assist in her own defense and asked she undergoes mental evaluation.

    District Judge Jack Lesser ruled Hall incompetent to stand trial on Sept. 3. Her case is now placed on an inactive docket until her status changes.

    Back in 2018, Hall pleaded guilty to deliberately setting fire on her mother’s home with herself and her children inside it after dismantling smoke detectors.
