‘Creepy amount of vultures’ leads police to deceased woman in Florida canal

Indian River County Sheriff’s officers have arrested a 37-year-old man in relation to the death of a female resident last seen alive on July 17.

Marcus Rosier is for the moment the main suspect in the murder of 32-year-old Maria Guadalupe Romo.

Romo’s body was found in a canal off 28th Avenue and 41st Street near Gifford after reports of a “creepy amount of vultures” in the area.

    Her remains were located at around 5:43 p.m. Her death was ruled a homicide.

    Rosier, who reportedly knew the victim, was charged with tampering with evidence, abuse of a dead body, and possession of ammunition
