New owner discovers human leg inside closet wall of classy Queens home

A terrified New York City man called 911 late Wednesday to report discovering a human bone inside a closet wall at his newly bought Queens residence.

Police responded to the Edgerton Boulevard, Jamaica Estates home shortly before midnight.

The 23-year-old owner told officers that he had moved into the residence less than a couple of months ago.

    The human remains were seized for examination at the New York City Medical Examiner’s Office.

    A preliminary investigation confirmed it was a human fibula. Investigators said that the finding was likely used as a “teaching specimen.”
