A terrified New York City man called 911 late Wednesday to report discovering a human bone inside a closet wall at his newly bought Queens residence.
Police responded to the Edgerton Boulevard, Jamaica Estates home shortly before midnight.
The 23-year-old owner told officers that he had moved into the residence less than a couple of months ago.

He added that he came across the human bone wedged behind a shelf as he loaded his clothes into the closet.
The human remains were seized for examination at the New York City Medical Examiner’s Office.
A preliminary investigation confirmed it was a human fibula. Investigators said that the finding was likely used as a “teaching specimen.”
