Police say that a man died after spending the night at a camp in Barooga, west of Alury.
Some of the other campers rendered first aid to the 20-year-old man, but he died at the scene.
Police reported that a Victorian couple were camped on the riverbed, 125 kilometers west of Albury, when their driver drove four-wheel drive while sleeping in his well-known car at around 9:30 pm Saturday, December 29, 2018
The Murray County police officers are investigating the circumstances of the incident and asking any witnesses to approach.
A report will be prepared on the criminal investigator.
