Trump faces criminal investigations in Washington and New York. So, WHAT DOES IT MEAN?
Special advocate Robert Mueller is looking into whether the Trump campaign was coordinated with Russia and whether the president obstructed the investigation. The president plays a leading role in a separate case in New York, where prosecutors implicated him in a crime claim that President Trump has asked his personal lawyer, Michael Cohen, to illegally pay money to two women to eliminate possible sex scandals during the campaign.
Before the House Republicans yielded the majority of the House to the Democrats, a letter was published: the presidents of two commissions described their "seemingly disparate treatment" that both investigations received in the 2016 presidential election and called for the Department of Justice to appoint a special council for more details.
The conclusion of the congressional inquiry, was a discreet end. The investigation was conducted in camera most of the time. Republican lawmakers often criticized the topics of the talks later and suggested they conspire against the president.
Regarding collusion with Russia. To date, the evidence shows that a large number of Trump associates had contacts with Russia during the 2016 presidential campaign.
It has also been proven that some people in the president's orbit are discussing a possible dump of WikiLeaks emails. US intelligence agencies and Mueller said that Russia was the source of pirated documents published by WikiLeaks during the campaign that had harmed Clinton's presidential effort.
