After an argument on Christmas Day, Guy Vickery, an 82-year-old father shot his son, Benjamin Vickery, 50 years old. The son ended deadly.
According to the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office, and after responding to a 911 call from Guy's house in Plant City, the father shot his son from the upper body. The son was transported to the Baptist Hospital in South Florida where the authorities announced his death.
The father was arrested and could see up to 30 years in prison, according to the affidavit for his arrest.
According to the Tampa Bay Times, this is not the first time the two men have shown a case of violence. 18 years ago, Benjamin Vickery began kicking his father in front of his house. Guy then pulled out his .45 pistol and fired at Benjamin's shoulder.
According to the report, the charges against Benjamin were dropped after he claimed that he was acting in self-defense and that he was not charged.
