A Florida man was arrested in relation with the deadly stabbing of his wife before putting her outside in the trash to be picked up by the garbage truck.
According to reports, Joseph Edward Traeger, 50, was arrested Thursday after he allegedly killed his wife Jeneen Ann Catanzaro, 50. The victim was last seen alive since Nov. 28, her husband had not declared her disappearance until four days later.
Officials said that the body of Cantanzaro was discovered many miles away from their property at a landfill in Davie. The suspect stated that during an argument he took a knife and stabbed his wife at the base of her skull, wrapped the body with three garbage bags and left her in a trash can on the cub.
He was charged of murder and giving false info to law enforcement.
