St. Lucie County Sheriff's Office announced that detectives are investigating a double murder, attempted suicide from last night.
deputies were called to the community in northern St. Lucie County around 6:30 p.m. Sunday for reports of gunfire and screaming.
"Once on scene, deputies found two individuals deceased from gunshot wounds and a third individual wounded from a self-inflicted gunshot wound," said Sheriff Ken Mascara.
“Once on scene, deputies found two individuals deceased from gunshot wounds and a third individual wounded from a self-inflicted gunshot wound,” said Sheriff Ken J. Mascara. “We believe the motive behind the shooting was domestic in nature and all three individuals are related.”
According to the Sheriff, the third victim/suspect was transported to a local hospital and is in protected custody with charges pending as the investigation continues.
