Gordon County news, Georgia news.

The family of a missing Georgia woman believes she is in danger after the slain body of a man who had disappeared in similar circumstances has been found.

20-year-old Keeslyn Noel Roberts has been reported missing on January 18 and was last seen in the Flying J travel center. She had dropped her backpack with her wallet and ID but took her phone with her.

On February 2, police found the body of Caleb Nathaniel Smith who had vanished from the Flying J on January 16 in a wooded area. Investigators said that Roberts and Smith didn’t know each other.

“The bad thing about it is that the Flying J has no cameras in the parking lots at all. No lightings hardly at all,” Roberts’ father said.
