El Paso news, Texas news.

Cleveland Browns’ offensive tackle Greg Robinson, 27, had reportedly been busted with nearly 71kg of marijuana and is currently facing drug distribution charges.

Police said that the arrest of Robinson and his former Auburn University teammate Jaquan Bray has occurred on Monday evening as they approached the Sierra Blanca Checkpoint Station. The pair who were with an Uber driver had allegedly asked him to claim the drug when they spotted the border’s agents.

The driver told officials that he had no knowledge of the drug the suspects were carrying. The inspection of the vehicle revealed 157 pounds of weed stuffed in several large duffle bags.

Robinson and Bray have been charged with possessing marijuana with the intention to sell it. They face up to 20 years in federal prison.
