Dennis Reid, 47, attacked and severely wounded his 10-year-old daughter and her teenage sister with a machete, The attack took place at a home in Lauderhill, Florida, on Friday morning, police said.
The man was supposed to care for his kids since the mother had to leave for a trip later that day, they had an argument and suddenly he grabbed the machete cutting the girls to their upper extremities, including to the head and neck.
Reid is taken into custody without bond Saturday in Broward County's main prison fo two counts each of attempted homicide and aggravated child abuse, according to Louisiana police department.
