The father of a one-year-old toddler has been busted after he allegedly drove him over thinking he had put him inside the vehicle.
Jesse Bullard was mortally wounded on Wednesday when his high 38-year-old dad Isaac Bullard forgot to put him inside his truck and drove over him.
“Jesse’s father loved him very much,” Tamlin Bullard, the boy’s mother said. “Just not enough to put his weed and dabs and other drugs aside to care for our son like he promised.”
When the father realized what he had done, he drove back and rushed the toddler to a nearby fire station. But Jesse couldn’t be saved.
Bullard has been charged with driving under the influence of drugs, vehicular homicide, child abuse and careless driving causing death.
