Suspect with ‘murder’ tattoo in face sentenced in 2018 fatal shooting

A 19-year-old suspect who has “murder” tattooed above his left eye has been sentenced to spend more than three decades of his life behind bars.

Leonardo Biorato has admitted to the shooting death of Edward Joseph Boyle Jr. last month and was sentenced to 32 years in prison, according to Greeley local news outlets.

Witnesses affirmed hearing two men fighting before a gunshot rang out on July 28, 2018 at around 1 a.m. The 46-year-old victim was discovered fatally shot and Biorato was apprehended months later.

He was charged with second-degree murder, possession of a weapon by a previous offender and witness intimidation. He was booked into jail on Dec. 22, 2018, after being tracked down with the help of witnesses.
