A 12-year-old girl was arrested on Friday night after threatening to kill students at her Florida high school. She faces two counts of a written death threat and misinformation about a firearm, according to the Broward County Sheriff's Office.

At around 7:00 pm Friday, a student from Falcon Cove Middle School and her relative alerted members of the sheriff's Weston office to a threat posted on Snapchat that included a list of deaths with student names, authorities said.
Later Friday, another threat was posted on Snapchat, said the sheriff's office.
The 12-year-old admitted to making false threats, the authorities said, and was taken to the Juvenile Assessment Center.
