New York police have arrested the Destiny USA Mall shooter who opened fire on Black Friday hitting a victim twice in the leg.
Authorities said that 21-year-old Kyree Truax was arrested as he transported his buddy to a nearby hospital after he sustained stab wounds during the fight that preceded the shooting. The victim was a 20-year-old who had been shot twice in the leg but is not listed in critical condition.
The Black Friday shoppers posted on social media about the shooting. The mall's manager expressed his satisfaction with the way the situation was handled: "We have planned for these types of events for years," Robert Schoeneck said. "We practice about every two months."
