The Spartanburg County Sheriff's Office released the name of a man who allegedly shot another man in the leg on Saturday afternoon.
Torrie L. Smith, 24, reportedly shot a man in the right leg after a fight, according to deputy master Darren Dukes of the Spartanburg County Sheriff's Office.
Dukes said Smith had used a 9mm handgun that he was not allowed by law to use.
Smith was arrested and charged with attempted murder, possession of a weapon in a violent crime, illegal use of a pistol and property damage.
Members said they were summoned to Tire Corral on Seminole Drive around 2 pm in reference to a shootout.
On the spot, deputies declared to have found a man wounded by bullet. The man was taken to hospital with injuries that do not seem to be life-threatening, MPs said.
Smith is currently being held at the Spartanburg County Detention Center, Dukes said.
