Needville news, Texas news.

A Needville mother has received a 40-year sentence on Monday after she admitted to killing her two-month-old son on December 11, 2016.

Rosemary Paige Harrah, 23-year-old, has confessed to suffocating her baby to death after initially claiming he died as he slept.

Harrah had called the police to her home to check on her son who was not breathing. The boy was pronounced dead at the scene.

10 days later, investigators received a tip reporting that Harrah was using an online name of "Shimmering" and had posted to a new mothers' website that she intended to hurt her son.

Harrah was ultimately arrested on suspicion of killing her infant. She told investigators she suffocated her son to death and went to sleep.
