Colorado police are looking for a shoplifter who attacked a supermarket security officer and left a shoe print on his face, authorities said.
The security guard tried to prevent the unidentified man from stealing supplies at a King Soopers supermarket in Aurora on October 6, police said.
The surveillance video showed that the man had beaten the security guard around 11 pm outside the store. He seemed to hit the security guard repeatedly on the head until the guard fell to the ground and then stomped on his face, police said.
The security guard spent a week in the hospital with serious injuries to his body and head, police said.
A reward totaling $ 9,000 was offered for information on the suspect, the channel reported.
