New Jersey teen shot dead at house party

Authorities in Palmyra, Burlington County are searching for clues after the fatal shooting that cost the life of a 19-year-old amid a house party.

Jonte Rice, of Willingboro, has been shot and killed on Thursday at around 11:15 p.m. on the 500 block of West 5th Street. According to police, Rice was shot several times. He was rushed to Cooper University Medical Center in Camden where he died from his injuries.

No suspects have been arrested in connection to the shooting. Authorities said that there is no risk or danger on the general community as the shooting is considered an isolated incident.

The Burlington County Medical Examiner will perform an autopsy later this week.
