A construction worker was hit and killed Sunday morning as crew repaired a major highway.
The accident occurred on Interstate 285 at Cascade Road in South Fulton at around 4:30 am Sunday. The cameras of the Ministry of Transport of Georgia showed images of the scene.
An ambulance took the worker to a hospital where he died.
The driver was charged with reckless driving and homicide by vehicle. Investigators said that alcohol may have been a factor and that additional charges are possible, pending the results of a blood test.
