The 41st U.S. president who died late Friday told his son George W. Bush he loved him too, replying to the son's words " you have been a wonderful dad."
A goodbye call on Friday night was the last conversation shared by the father and the son, before he died at his Houston home surrounded by friends and family members.
A special friend, James A. Baker III shared also the last moment with the former president: "Where are we going, Bake?", Bush reportedly asked him, "We're going to heaven" Baker replied. "That's where I want to go." Barely 13 hours later he passed away.
Baker said that "It was as gentle a passing as I think you could ever expect anyone tohave. And he was ready."
