A shootout in the Rose Bowl car park after Saturday's match between Oklahoma and UCLA resulted in one death and one injury.

According to KTLA, Pasadena police responded to reports of gunshots fired at 11:22 pm. Saturday. Kamryn Stone, 18, from Los Angeles, was taken to a local hospital and later pronounced dead. A 51-year-old LA man has also been hospitalized for a gunshot wound, but his condition is stable, the police said.

According to NBC Los Angeles, police said the incident began with a fight before escalating into a shootout.

The shooting took place about three hours after Oklahoma defeated UCLA 48-14 at the Rose Bowl. The game ended just after 20h. local hour. A city spokesman told KTLA that the stadium's parking lots had been "cleaned up" at this time of night.

The police are investigating a motive and have not disclosed details of any suspects.
