Boy's remains found buried in baseball field

Delaware authorities announced Sunday that the human remains found in a baseball field in Smyrna on September 13, are believed to be those of boy aged under of 10.

Last Friday, police received a call reporting human remains in the area of the Little Lass Field on Duck Creek Parkway at about 8:30 p.m, according to reports.

The identity of the child and his cause of death have not been provided by authorities. Meanwhile, detectives and deputies from the Delaware Attorney General's Office along with the office of the Chief Medical Examiner are still investigating the case and gathering more evidence that could help to find the killer.
