The investigation is still ongoing by California authorities after a man was shot to death in a grocery store parking lot on September 6, 2019, officials said.
According to San Jose police Officer Gina Tepoorten, the shooting unfolded shortly after 12:40 p.m. in the lot of a FoodMaxx in West San Jose. While police were responding to a call reporting the incident, they found the unidentified victim lying in a pool of blood and sustaining several gunshot injuries. He was transferred to a nearby hospital and died shortly afterward.
As for Sunday, no suspect has been arrested in the case that marked the city's 25th homicide during 2019.
