Two deadly shootings took place Sunday in Chicago in just over 20 minutes. At least 35 people were shot and seven of them were killed.

A 15-year-old boy, Dovantae Jackson, was shot in the same neighborhood where he lived and was pronounced dead at the scene.

Shortly after, an unidentified man and woman were shot at a party in South Side. the man later died at the University of Chicago Medical Center.

A street crossing on the southwestern side killed a man and seriously injured one.

The day before, two men were killed and three wounded after a gunman opened fire on a group of people. Both were declared dead in two separate hospitals.

A double shootout in Humboldt Park killed Angel Perez, 18, and injured another man on Saturday morning. Willie Coker was shot early Saturday morning while he was outside with a group of people.
