Triplet charged in stabbing death of brother

According to Georgia authorities, a 36-year-old triplet was taken into custody after he allegedly stabbed to death one of his own brothers in the family home early Tuesday morning.

According to local reports, Kenneth Jernigan faces possession of a knife during the commission of a crime and murder charges following the deadly stabbing of Kevin Jernigan.

Kenneth has moved to the home in 2018 with his two brothers, Kevin and Keith Jernigan, a neighbor of the triplets told reporters.

The cause of the attack was not determined at this time. Kenneth remains in the Muscogee County Jail, according to Columbus Police Lt. Greg Touchberry. His first hearing is expected for Thursday
