The former wife of a well-known Atlanta surgeon has allegedly committed suicide after killing her two adult children, according to police.
What led 58-year-old Marsha Edwards to kill her children remains a mystery. The bodies of the mother, her 20-year-old daughter, Erin Edwards, and her 24-year-old son, Chris Edwards, were found inside their Vinings home at around 6 p.m. on Wednesday.
The murder-suicide came just a day after the mother returned from a trip to Italy with her daughter and wrote on social media: "I couldn't ask for better children."
Erin Edwards was a Boston University student while her brother worked as a digital content manager for the city of Atlanta and worked in the Mayor's Office of Entertainment.
